Filter Cleaning

A filter cleaning consists of our technician shutting off the power to the equipment. We then release all the pressure from the tank and break down the contents of the pool filter.  We then wash out and inspect the inside of the filter housing and manifold for any damage.  The filter cartridges will then be washed thoroughly removing all debris that resides inside of the pleats.  The filter o-ring is lubed and the filter put back together making sure that there are no leaks.  This service is recommended to be done at least twice a year or more depending on size of filter.

Heavy Duty Clean Up

There might be times where Mother Nature does quite a number on your pool by blowing in large amounts of leaves or dirt into your pool and cleaning your pool will require a much longer time for maintenance. For these instances, we have a heavy duty clean up where we scrape and remove large amounts of leaves that would regularly clog up the vacuum. We then vacuum the bottom of the pool thoroughly. If there happens to be a large amount of dirt in the pool a filter cleaning is recommended with this clean-up.

Phosphate Treatment

Phosphates are phosphorus compounds that serve as the primary food source for algae. Phosphates are introduced into the pool in the form of sun block residue, skin oils, hair gel, urine, leaves and all other debris falling into the pool.  When your pool’s phosphate levels are high, chlorine has a hard time keeping algae from growing. There are times that even with high chlorine levels in a pool, it cannot kill algae because the phosphates levels are so high.  The result of this causes your pool to turn green and when this happens a phosphate treatment needs to be done.

Deck-o-Seal

The deck that surrounds your pool is sealed to keep water from seeping underneath your pool and lifting it out from under the ground. Over time, the sealer begins to crack and deteriorate due to the elements. When that happens the Deck-o-seal needs to be replaced.
